What is it used for?

  • Assessing Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) functionally.

How to Perform

  • Action: Examiner palpates the patella while the patient performs slow squats.

Interpretation of Results

  • Positive Test: Pain, crepitus (grinding), or poor patellar tracking during the movement.
