What is it used for?

  • Assessing tightness of the Extensor Muscles.

How to Perform

  • Action: Flex the fingers while the wrist is extended. Then flex the fingers while the wrist is flexed.

Interpretation of Results

  • Positive Test: Fingers flex easily with wrist extended, but are restricted/cannot flex fully when the wrist is flexed.
