What is it used for?

  • Diagnosing Popliteus Tendinopathy.

How to Perform

  • Position: Patient supine, hip/knee flexed 90°.
  • Action: Patient actively externally rotates the tibia against resistance.

Interpretation of Results

  • Positive Test: Pain in the posterolateral knee (popliteus area).
