What is it used for?

  • Functional loading test for Meniscal Tears.

How to Perform

  • Medial Meniscus: Patient squats with feet externally rotated (duck stance).
  • Lateral Meniscus: Patient squats with feet internally rotated (pigeon toed).

Interpretation of Results

  • Positive Test: Pain or click/snap along the joint line.

Diagnostic Accuracy

  • Sensitivity: 67%
  • Specificity: 81%
