  • Action: Examiner applies direct pressure with thumbs over the carpal tunnel for 30 seconds.

Interpretation of Results

  • Positive Test: Onset of paresthesia (tingling) in the median nerve distribution.
  • Note: Often considered more sensitive than Phalen's or Tinel's.
