What is it used for?

  • Diagnosing Scapular Dyskinesis and stability.

How to Perform

  • Measurement: Measure distance from inferior angle of scapula to spinous process (T7) in 3 positions:
  • 1. Arms at side.
  • 2. Hands on hips.
  • 3. Arms abducted 90°.

Interpretation of Results

  • Positive Test: Asymmetry > 1.5cm between sides in any position.
