Bicipital Aponeurosis Flex Test Special Test

What is it used for?
- Confirming complete distal biceps rupture (checking if the aponeurosis is intact).
How to Perform
- Position: Patient actively flexes the wrist and makes a fist (supinated arm).
- Action: Patient flexes the elbow to 75°.
- Palpation: Examiner feels for the sharp edge of the bicipital aponeurosis in the medial antecubital fossa.
Interpretation of Results
- Positive Test: The aponeurosis is not palpable (indicates rupture).

- Sensitivity: 100%
- Specificity: 90%
