What is it used for?
- Measuring the degrees of movement available at the ankle joint.
How to Perform
- Dorsiflexion: Move the foot upwards towards the shin (Standard: 20-30°).
- Plantar flexion: Point the foot downwards (Standard: 40-50°).
- Pronation/Supination: Assess the rolling motion of the foot (Pronation: ~30°, Supination: ~60°).
- Rotation: Assess slight rotational movements (Standard: ~5°).
